Marc Charney
Marc is passionate about real estate and its development. He was first inspired by a Brookline, Massachusetts neighbor who hired him at age 10 to help with property maintenance. As a real estate developer and broker with over 30 years of experience, Marc brings his expertise, insight and creativity to Charney Real Estate. Through Marc’s leadership, Charney Real Estate has focused on brokerage, and the acquisition/ development of properties. Marc’s priority has been to restore homes and preserve their historical value whenever possible. Recently Marc and his team have committed to converting existing structures to all-electric, and new construction to a net-zero standard by 2030. Charney Real Estate has proudly served the brokerage and development needs of communities ranging from Boston to the MetroWest area. Marc has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to his craft and the communities he serves. He enjoys spending time with his family, kite surfing, skiing and is proud to be a staunch supporter of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins teams.

DD Marcoux
DD is a lifelong MetroWest resident, residing in Wellesley for over 14 years with her husband and four children. Her dedication to the community shines through her extensive volunteer work for Wellesley elementary, middle, and high schools. For close to a decade she has served the real estate community in Wellesley, Newton, Brookline, Wayland, and beyond. She offers each client a full-service concierge style real estate experience, guiding you through every step with care, from your competitive market analysis to closing day. DD believes your home should be your sanctuary, and she would love to help you find yours.

Jenny is a lifelong learner and former educator. She brings her dedication, organization and drive to Charney Real Estate. In her day to day, Jenny is responsible for capturing and retaining talent, providing leadership, stability and vision. She enjoys working with a team of exceptionally talented and creative professionals who share a common purpose. She is committed to the goals Charney Real Estate has set forth in the areas of sustainable building and development practices, brokerage excellence and resourceful senior living and relocation services. She lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with her husband and three children. Her favorite things include spending time with her active family, exercising and reading books

Kate Grondin
Kate is an experienced business owner, senior relocation specialist, professional move manager, home improvement contractor, and real estate agent. Her ability to build strong teams and provide excellent customer service is key to her success, and she has a passion for helping people through life’s major transitions.
Kate has spent much of her professional career serving seniors and their families transitioning from home to retirement or assisted living communities, and was a two-term board member of the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers. She is currently a trustee of The Little Chair Foundation which provides grants to teachers for training and strategies to creating inclusive settings for children. She is a dedicated supporter of the Ellie Fund which provides essential support services to breast cancer patients.
When not working, Kate can be found spending time on various interior design projects, working on her photography skills, and sneaking away to her Maine house. Oh, and she never says “no” to a game of pickle ball!

Marissa currently resides in Newton with her husband and grew up in Wellesley. She brings a unique blend of skills and passions to the world of real estate development. Marissa's diverse background in quality analytics and software development, combined with a profound love for crafting exquisite living spaces, makes her the driving force behind our development projects. She orchestrates every aspect of the journey, from meticulous organization to unwavering quality and precision. Beyond real estate, Marissa indulges her creative side through painting, decorating, and crocheting. She also enjoys spending time with her spunky Australian Shepherd.

Michelle Sawan
Michelle, a lifelong MetroWest resident, has deep familiarity with the area. After growing up in Walpole, she spent the past 20 years in Sherborn, where she and her husband of 31 years raised five children, all graduates of the Dover-Sherborn public schools. They currently reside in Sherborn with their two dogs, a cat, and various sea creatures.
Having lived and worked in a variety of roles across MetroWest, Michelle has developed a wide range of skills directly applicable to real estate, along with in-depth knowledge of the local market and communities she serves. Her background in education and customer service sharpens her ability to listen to clients, identify their unique needs, and deliver personalized, effective solutions. Michelle’s lifelong connection to the area, combined with her local expertise, gives her a distinct edge in navigating real estate transactions, ensuring her clients receive top-tier guidance and support every step of the way.
In her free time, Michelle stays active with CrossFit, learning new languages, and supporting local music and theatre. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, skiing in New Hampshire, exploring New England's trails with her dogs, and dining at local restaurants.
